Academic Excellence Award

The Department organizes a number of Guest Lectures and seminars by the Faculties from the reputed colleges such as IITs and Anna University, Chennai. The Department also organizes conferences and Industrial visits to reputed industries every year. The students in our department have good communication and interpersonal skills. Their thoughts and creativity have yielded them State level prizes.

  • The Department has been awarded “Responsible And Innovation Award 2017” by Society for Educational and Entrepreneurship Development (SEED )
  • In 2023, Anna University acknowledged the Department of Mechanical Engineering as a recognized research center.
  • The Department of Mechanical Engineering has six research supervisors recognized by Anna University.
